About Michael Dale Harris
Michael Dale Harris is a lifelong Graves County resident, fourth-generation auctioneer, business owner, and conservative Republican committed to serving his community with integrity, accountability, and common sense.
Michael is the owner and principal broker of Harris Real Estate & Auction, where he has spent more than 28 years helping families, farmers, and landowners make important decisions involving their property, livelihoods, and futures. With over 96 years of family tradition behind him in the auction business, Michael understands that trust is earned, not given, and that leadership is about stewardship.
He currently serves as Vice President of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association and is a Past President of the Mayfield–Graves County Board of Realtors. Michael is an active member of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, National Auctioneers Association, Kentucky Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
As a conservative Republican, Michael believes government should be limited, transparent, and fiscally responsible. He has built his business by following those same principles and will apply them in county government as Commissioner.
More than anything else, Michael is a husband and father who cares deeply about his family and his community. He and Anna are raising their boys with the same values he grew up with: hard work, responsibility, and appreciation for country life. Whether it is working together in their business or sitting down to dinner at the end of the day, family time matters in the Harris home. That is what motivates Michael to serve, making sure Graves County remains a place where families can build a life, raise their children, and feel proud to call it home.
